Precautions BTA is taking regarding the pandemic Coronavirus – COVID19
Dear Clients, Colleagues, and Friends –
Here at BTA we have updated our policies to do our part to slow down the spread of COVID19. We are fortunate to have had an ongoing dialog with Dr. Jerome Galea, Ph.D. in population health, with over 25 years of expertise in infectious disease control and education to keep us focused on the facts. Based on his guidance, we have aligned our strategies with recommendations from infectious disease experts at the local, federal, and international levels.
Here’s what we are doing:
- We have educated our on-site technicians on the correct way to wash their hands before entering and after leaving every home, on social distancing techniques, and common sense best practices, including how to handle a sneeze.
- All on-site techs are equipped with anti-bacterial disinfectant, know to avoid handshaking, and to disinfect after contact with doorknobs and other common “touch points.”
- Our entire staff is hyper-vigilant to assure we are healthy every day, and if there is any sign of illness with our staff or within our home life, we are self-separating ourselves.
- At our facility, we are cleaning doorknobs and wiping down surfaces several times a day. We have Kleenex and appropriate products for cleaning and sneeze control.
In light of recent closures of sporting events, schools, airports, cruise lines, restaurants, and other mass gathering venues – we are anticipating that our clients will be staying home and relying on in-home entertainment and networking systems to keep connected and occupied. Please contact us if you have any questions about our policies, would like to discuss “remote service” capabilities (if you are not already equipped), or need to up your game to prep for a Netflix binge.
Your safety and well-being are always our top priority here at Boca Theater and Automation. We hope this note finds you and yours well, and we remain ready to help get through this truly unusual pause in our busy lifestyles. We will continue to follow the guidance from reliable resources such as the WHO, CDC, and Florida Health and notify you of any relevant changes in our policies.
