Ketra is Lutron’s most advanced intelligent lighting technology. Unlike standard LED fixtures, which typically provide one fixed color of white light, Ketra can adjust light intensity, color temperature, and color throughout the day to create a more natural, flexible, and carefully designed experience.
Standard LED lighting can be efficient and attractive, but it is often limited to a fixed warm or cool tone. Ketra gives homeowners much greater control over how a space looks and feels. It can provide crisp, clear light for daytime activity, warmer tones for the evening, and refined scenes for entertaining, relaxing, artwork, and architecture.
Ketra also works as part of an integrated Lutron system. Lighting can coordinate with motorized shades, keypads, schedules, and whole-home scenes, so the home responds simply and consistently without relying on multiple disconnected apps.
Because Ketra is designed for high-quality residential environments, it is especially well suited for primary living spaces, kitchens, art walls, dressing areas, and rooms where light quality matters as much as the fixture itself. It is not necessarily needed in every room. The right approach depends on the home, architecture, lifestyle, and budget.
